DLPT Scores

A Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) score report for ACE credits may be requested through the Registrar's Office. ACE Credit recommendations are only available for languages tested with a DLPT III, DLPT IV, or DLPT 5 format after 1 October 1990. Not all languages are ACE Credit recommended; check the ACE DLPT Credit by Exam Policy to make sure your test scores are eligible for a DLPT Score Report. 

DLPT score reports are based on official test scores. Official test scores are maintained for students who either completed one of DLIFLC's resident language programs, or whose test scores have been forwarded to the DLIFLC Testing Division by a Test Control Officer at the site in which the DLPT was administered. DLPT score reports can NOT be prepared from DA 330s forwarded to the Registrar Office.

In order for DLIFLC to prepare a DLPT score report, the applicant must submit a signed DLPT score report request form (DLIFLC Form 420) with the applicant's full name/maiden name, full Social Security Number (SSN), the language tested, the date tested, and location where the DLPT was taken. To request Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) results, you must indicate the language, date, and location where the OPI was taken. Fill in the names and complete addresses of the receiving institutions, as well as the number of copies to be sent. A completely filled out and signed DLIFLC Form 420 may be mailed, faxed, or scanned/emailed to the Registrar's Office for processing. There is no fee for score reports.

Students may establish a password allowing them to request future score reports without a signed request. Simply select your own password and write it on a signed and completed score report request form (DLIFLC Form 420). Once the signed request form and requestor's password have been processed by the Registrar's Office, score reports may be requested without a signature, by using the established password.
