Official visit request

All Official Visitors to the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center are required to submit the Visit Authorization Request (VAR) form below to initiate coordination with military and academic leadership.

Required fields marked with an asterisk (*) must be completed.

Please be aware of the following processing requirements for visit authorization:

• Domestic Visit Authorization Requests: Up to 30 days
• Foreign Visit Authorization Requests: Minimum of 90 days

Visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly to ensure adequate time for review and approval.

Due to the Institute’s high‑tempo foreign language training schedule, installation tours are not available.

DLIFLC Alumni should contact the Public Affairs Office for assistance with coordinating a potential visit. Support for alumni visits will be reviewed based on mission requirements and staffing availability.
