OLOA – Office of Leadership and Organizational Agility

About the Office of Leadership and Organizational Agility

The Office of Leadership and Organizational Agility was created in September 2022 at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. Formerly the Center for Leadership Development, OLOA has taken on a new focus beyond leadership training.

The Office’s purpose is to develop current and future leaders who are committed to promoting a highly engaged and positive workplace. The organizational development program at OLOA aims to help organizations build their capacity to change and achieve greater effectiveness by developing, improving, and reinforcing strategies, structures, and processes.

Current leaders and faculty who are interested in career progression will have access to a tangible career development path. The path toward career advancement will include leader education programs, mentoring, and coaching.

Mission

OLOA’s mission is to optimize agility through leader and organizational development fostering a transformative organization equipped to succeed in a state of dynamic, continuous, and unanticipated change.

Vision

OLOA’s vision is to create a highly engaged, adaptable, and positive leadership culture throughout the institute.
